PILO develops and shares change methodologies that improve learning and contribute to sustainable improvement in the public education system. 

We know the “education system needs urgent action” (chapter 9 of the NDP). No matter how you read the stats – South Africa performs poorly in terms of getting learners through school and enabling them to be socially engaged and productive adults.  

We are meeting this challenge by building and advocating models for education system change.
