My name is Mpho Palesa Tshabalala. I’m writing this email to thank activate as a whole for the opportunities awarded to us. I’m a 2015 activate member thus that’s when I was accepted into the network and ever since I joined the network my life has changed and it has impacted others in an amazingly beautiful ways where they got to find their inner being. I’m all about empowerment and I have been given the opportunity by activate to actually empower those that need empowerment. I have taken the opportunities with both hands and thus far I’ve been able to be apart of the 360 entrepreneurial breakfast, orange corners boot camp, Vida sparkle as You Grind and A! Literacy summit. The list will definitely continue. Below is a short feed back of all the opportunities I’ve taken with both hands that were afforded to me.
Self worth is the most important mantra in my life and being a part of this network made me realize my self worth on this earth. I live a life that is driven and that has purpose, not only for me but for other people as well. My life is to serve those in need and to change the narrative of a young black woman in South Africa. Well she’s not that young anymore but she has so many dreams to fulfill and to make them come true.
The change I want to see starts with me. Thus through the A! What’sapp groups I got the ability to be apart of orange corners. Mzwandile had sent the opportunity through the group and I applied, after applying I went through for interviews and they selected my company to come on board for their 3 day boot camp that was held at Tshimologo Princint.
The journey of the boot camp was intense and I learned a lot. I learned to consistently test my products and services rigorously. I learned to think outside the box and deep within the box.
I left corporate to become an entrepreneur, it has been the most beautiful experience ever. With the ups and downs one got to learn the ins and out of this world. As it is we learn on a daily basis.
Below are some of the pics from the boot camp. As I got the privilege to pitch as well. I say it’s a privilege because no one can afford you that experience. It only comes at that time and pint, the nerves creep in but after the whole ordeal one gets used to pitching and being precise about what they are offering.
The team that was at the boot camp. 50 different entrepreneurs from different parts of the world.
