Free To Speak is a day show that celebrates Human Rights Day and International Poetry Day on the same day. It only looks like a great day for today’s prophets and philosophers.
Free To Speak then creates a space for all South Africans and beyond to Remember and Celebrate the richness of our past and hold an optimistic mind for the future of the human race in all our differences respectively.

This event will take place at The City Of Choice (Pietermaritzburg) at The Bessie Head Library and we have a great deal of a line up of well recognised poets who will be sharing their hearts with the audience and we have an open mic space available for the first hour of the show.
