Alina Mazibuko

Alina is 2019 Activator who started working with youth in 2013 at Villiers where she was a Mpintshi of Lovelife and a member of the Siyaphambili Youth Club.
In 2013 she started a youth club in Warden, Moonlight Youth Club that works with young people in creative, skills development and personal development.
In 2015 she joined Transnet Foundation as a caregiver and co-facilitator in their life skills programme. In 2015 she joined Sports, Art and Culture and Recreation as Camp Steward in the National Youth Camp.
Alina has also been a team leader in Tholoana Consulting, where she strongly campaigned for environmental conservation.
In 2017 Alina co-founded Special TIES, where she contributed to the provision of sanitary towels in schools in Warden.
In 2020 she was awarded Best Community Builder and started a Foundation, Alinah Mazibuko (NPC), which helps the Community of Ezenzeleni with food parcels, sanitary pads, cosmetics, school shoes and skills development.
Alina is currently a PR Councillor in Phumelela Municipality Warden and Chairperson of Special Programmes (Women, Youth, HIV, People with Disabilities, Sports, Art and Culture and Children, Health)
Alina was selected to be part of the Intercontinental Youth Summit in Mauritius, and served as a MMC at Phumelela Municipality. (203)
