The network has been successful in the development of over 4325 young people across the country 39% percent of whom own businesses 44% are involved in HIV&AIDS initiatives and 87% of activators who continue to engage with other youth.

The ACTIVATE! Change Drivers legacy story has in many instances mirrored the realities of the society it is established in and responded to the status quo with proactive interventions that have mobilised young people to become the solution bearers even to problems they have not created.

This has included several learning exchanges, and contributions to policy documents that continue to call for meaningful change in civil society beyond the efforts of protest action such as the Treasury Bill, the National Youth Policy, the Equity bill, the National Reading Coalition, the South African Youth Aids Council, the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa and the Department of Health.
