The ACTIVATE! Network was in existence for seven years, at time of the launch of the Heroes booklet. In those seven years, the network had grown to over 3,400 young people. It was noted that 90% of the network at the time were involved in at least one pro-social activity the book provided a platform and opportunity to celebrate and showcase what Activators are doing on the micro stage, in their corners of the country.
